I have always been interested in word origins, now I finally get to read about them! This should prove to be fascinating.
It has taken quite a while but I have finally meandered through the book. It was indeed interesting. Word etymology was thoroughly researched. It would have been great if more history of these words were preserved but you get what you get. How would I know that word meanings that I ascribe today will be curiously fascinating to someone 1,000 years from now.
