My Review
Rating: 7/10
I have to admit that I would not have read this this unless it was required for my Critical Thinking class. I did enjoy the book but there were sections in which my attention did wander so I missed the thrust of Socrates argument in that section. In other parts I found myself amazed at watching a master at work.
From an argument standpoint this conversation between Socrates and peers was a terrific model. That my attention wandered can be attributed to being conditioned to TV/Movies. That being said, I would watch the movie if it came out. It did remind me of the 1990 movie Mindwalk
, which I’ve found fascinating each time I’ve watched it.
