This is an autographed copy of this book 16 years ago while serving at the Trident Training Facility in Bangor, WA. Being a submariner, I find the topic fascinating. Having served only on nukes, I find diesel boat life fascinating.
If you are at all interested in what WW II was like from a submariners perspective this is a must read. It is a firsthand account from the skipper of the USS Tang and it’s 5 war patrols before being lost at sea.
